What is tithing?
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse… and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
Malachi 3:10
The tithe — meaning “a tenth” — is the biblical practice of returning the first ten percent of our income to God through His church. It’s not obligation; it’s worship that declares God is first and that we trust Him as our provider.
Beyond the tithe, offerings are gifts of gratitude that extend ministry, outreach, and blessing to our community and beyond.
